A Spiritual Midwife's Ministry

Shifra, which means beautiful, is the Hebrew name for Shiphrah, said to be the eldest of the Biblical midwife duo Shiphrah and Puah.  Together these God-fearing, courageous midwives spared hundreds of Hebrew baby boys and prevented the genocide of the Hebrew people.

Having been charged by God to keep the tradition of helping the people of God give birth to the gifts and purposes God has for their lives, I am the Daughter of Shifra.
